Instructions for Use

User Instructions

VIOSENSE eyewear are special purpose polarized glasses for augmenting the sense of color while viewing a compatible polarized display screen such as a computer screen, television, mobile phone or tablet. When viewing a polarized image, VIOSENSE lenses cause the right and left eyes to receive different color information, resulting in an “added dimesion” of color. Wear glasses for at least five (5) minutes to allow the eyes to adjust to the sensation. If visual discomfort persists, discontinue use. VIOSENSE eyewear are for entertainment purposes only and are not intended to treat or cure any disease or eye condition. Not compatible with: projectors, plasma TVs, CRTs and e-readers.

Tips for Best Results

Dim ambient room light. Do not view multiple screens at the same time, unless they are of the same model. When changing orientation of a phone or tablet, allow at least five (5) minutes for the eyes to readjust. A high frame-rate source (e.g. 60 fps) is recommended to reduce potential motion discomfort. Results may vary depending on the type of content being viewed.

Care and Handling

For maximum optical performance, VIOSENSE lenses are anti-reflection coated and include an “easy clean” hydrophobic coating on the front and back surfaces. To remove dust and smudges from routine use, VIOSENSE eyewear may be cleaned using an optical-grade cleaning spray and the included microfiber cloth. The glasses may also be hand washed with mild dish soap and warm water, then dried and polished with the microfiber cleaning cloth. Do not attempt clean eyewear with solvents such as rubbing alcohol or acetone. Do not wipe the frame or lenses with abrasive materials such as paper towels or clothing. Do not store the glasses in direct sunlight, or in extreme heat such as on a car dashboard. For maximum lifespan, always store the eyewear inside the included case.

Caution

VIOSENSE eyewear are not recommended for use by persons susceptible to migraine or photosensitive epilepsy. VIOSENSE glasses are impact resistant and UV-blocking but are not compliant with ANSI Z80.3-2020 and are not intended for use as sunglasses. Do not use while driving.
