1. The Adaptation Period
When you first wear your VIOSENSE glasses in front of a digital screen, your visual cortex may take 10 to 20 minutes to adapt to the new binocular rivalry cues.
During the first few minutes, colors may look unusually vibrant or have a subtle shimmering sensation. This is the intended optical effect: your brain is actively processing the differential signals between each eye to extract color data.
2. Screen Brightness & Position
- Screen Brightness: Maintain comfortable indoor screen brightness (typically 50% to 80%). Avoid excessively dim screen settings.
- Viewing Angle: Position your screen directly facing your eyes. Looking at extreme acute angles may alter the polarization orientation.
- Ambient Lighting: VIOSENSE glasses are tuned specifically for viewing illuminated digital screens indoors. They are not recommended as driving sunglasses.
3. Cleaning and Care
- Clean lenses using standard optical-grade cleaning spray or lukewarm water with mild soap.
- Wipe dry only with the included microfiber optical cloth. Avoid shirts, tissues, or abrasive paper towels that can scratch anti-reflective coatings.
- Always store your eyewear in the included zippered hard shell case when traveling or not in use.
